On this section you'll find everything concerning my activity as music journalist.

I started writing about music with my brother in 1985 when we did a fanzine called Snowdonia. On the same year I also did my own fanzine called Maelzel where I covered industrial, experimental, ritual music (I interviewed Rosemary's Baby, Coil, Ain Soph, Giancarlo Toniutti, Ramleh just to name few). I did three issues of Maelzel and six of Snowdonia.

In the 90's I wrote for a magazine called Rockerilla but that experience lasted few years.

With the internet era approaching I started my own webzine on a small local provider where I reviewed CDs of the same genre I'm covering today.

It was called "Chain The Door".

Soon after I knew Marc Urselli and his own fanzine called D.L.K. After an initial collaboration we decided to join our forces and so with the third issue, his fanzine become our thing and it changed name in CHAIN D.L.K.

Since then we did eight issues. With the sixth issue we started to give a compilation CD with the magazine. At that time we had glossy paper, some color pages and a wider distribution.

We had to stop that experience because Marc decided to move to New York (where he still lives) and not because it wasn't successful.

At that point I decided to move everything back on the net and we started (but not from scratch) what nowadays is one of the most appreciated online magazines.

I decided to open this section on my Noisebrigade website not because I'm detaching from CHAIN D.L.K. but because music in general means so much to me and I wanted to put on my own website every activity I do about music.
